Sorbic Acid

Description
Sorbic Acid occurs as colorless needles or as a white to off white, free-flowing powder. It is slightly soluble in water, One gram dissolves in about 10 mL of ethanol and in about 20 mL of ether.

Application
Sorbic acid is a natural organic compound used as a food preservative. Sorbic Acid can be widely used as food ingredient or food additive in our daily life. Sorbic Acid is mainly used in food, beverages, tobacco, pesticides, cosmetics and other industries. As an unsaturated acid, Sorbic Acid also can be used in resins, spices and rubber industry.
