Description
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) is a white or almost white crystalline powder, odorless, sour and bitter, and sublimated by heating. The dried product is stable to air and light, and the aqueous solution is gradually oxidized and changed color when exposed to air, and the oxidation accelerates with the increase of pH value. Mp205-209°C (decomposition), with maximum absorption (0.1mol/LHCl) at a wavelength of 290nm±1nm. Easily soluble in water (1:4.5), the solution is acidic, slightly soluble in ethanol (1:90) and acetone, but insoluble in ether and chloroform

Application
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), chemical name 2-methyl-3-hydroxy-4,5-dihydroxymethylpyridine hydrochloride, exists in rice bran, vegetables, yeast, molasses, fat and so on.
